Our Story
Morr began with a simple question: why can't the snacks we grew up with be made better?
Like every Malayali, we grew up on Kerala's snacks. Banana chips at Onam, murukku with evening chai, a handful of mixture whenever guests dropped by. They are part of who we are.
But the more we looked at how these snacks are usually made, the less we liked what we saw. Too often they were fried in palm oil that was reused again and again, made in kitchens where hygiene came second to speed, with cheap, low-quality ingredients standing in for good ones. And the packet on the shop shelf rarely told you any of this.
That bothered us, especially here at home. Kerala has one of the highest rates of heart disease in India, and yet snacks like these are still part of our daily lives. We didn't want to give them up. We wanted them made the right way.
So we started Morr.
The Morr way
- No palm oil. Every batch is made in rice bran oil.
- Clean ingredients. Nothing we wouldn't use in our own kitchens.
- No artificial colours or flavours. Just real, honest taste.
- Traditional recipes. Made with care in Kerala.
Morr is the Kerala snack we always wanted to buy: the same crunch and flavour we grew up with, made the way it should be.
